PhD Candidate
His general area of research concerns global meat and animal by-product consumption and the implications for the future of the global food systems.
His major research paper was on the potential global governance issues arising from land use, water extinction, and antibiotics in the production of livestock, with a concentration on research gaps which could prevent adequate governance. He is hoping to expand this area of research into a PhD. His interest in this research area stems in part from his living on a farm in a rural Ontario community.
Richard also holds an Honours Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from the University of Waterloo.
