Yushuo (Alicia) Cai | Implementing Community Sustainability and Climate Plans

Yushuo (Alicia) is a Master of

Environmental Studies (MES) student, in Sustainability Management, in the Faculty of Environment’s School of Environment, Enterprise and Development. Her research is focused on interpreting how the design of cross-sector partnerships influences the outcome of sustainable plans (e.g., actual sustainability progress).

Yushuo aims to interpret the relationships between variables, using statistical tools to analyze the dataset. The data she focuses on are from a survey of ICLEI members at an international scale, conducted in Korean, English, French and Spanish speaking countries. She tries to explore how the factors such as time, communication, number of partners effect the plan implementation through local governments and through cross-sector partnerships with other local organizations.

Yushuo joined the team in September 2016.
