On Friday, September 14, 2018, the University of Waterloo welcomed Canada’s Ambassador to China, the Honourable John McCallum. Meetings were held between university officials as well as delegates from Global Affairs Canada to learn more about UW’s international student recruitment and student experience as well as discuss UW’s industrial and innovation/commercialization partnerships and opportunities.
