ISOLDE X

ISOLDE X was held in Seville and Islantilla, Spain from June 2 through June 8, 2005 organized by Juan Antonio Mesa.

The first part of the meeting was held in Seville, Andalucía, the capital of the southern region of Spain and one of the most preferred cities in Europe for visitors and tourists. The hosting institution was the University of Seville, which was founded in 1505. During the stay in Seville, sessions was held at the Engineering School of the University, probably the most prestigious technical faculty in Spain.

The second part of the Symposium took place in Islantilla (Province of Huelva), a beautiful resort town with fine sandy beaches, close to Lugares Colombinos where Christopher Columbus started his journey to America in 1492 and to the Portuguese Region of the Algarve. The sessions took place at the superior four stars Puerto Antilla Grand Hotel which was recently opened.

This meeting of ISOLDE was co-organized by the EURO Working Group on Locational Analysis (EWGLA).
