Lena Hogan Schmidt
Research Assistant
Lena is working towards an undergraduate degree in Health Sciences at the University of Waterloo with a specialization in Health Research. So far, Lena has been actively involved in campus life, including holding the Vice President position within the University of Waterloo's Circle K International club and working with Campus Housing.
Lena has been involved with the Laboratory of Lipidomics as a research assistant working on various projects including processing and analyzing food and human blood samples. Lena looks forward to starting her undergraduate thesis with the lab starting Fall 2026.
