Using molecular and cellular techniques, Antonia's MSc research concentrates on characterizing cardiac mitochondria in a mouse model that lacks a specific phospholipid remodeling enzyme. Using her undergraduate research experience in cardiopulmonary physiology, Antonia hopes beginning bridging the gap between her findings at the molecular level and their implications in cardiac health and function.
