Professor Duncan completed her BSc (Hons) at the University of Guelph (Biological Sciences), followed by a PhD at the University of Toronto (Nutritional Sciences), and a Postdoctoral Fellowship at the University of California, Berkeley (Nutritional Science).

Michelle’s research focuses on mitochondrial dysfunction and therapeutic interventions in the Tafazzin-KO mouse model of Barth syndrome.
Alex's research utilizes a variety of biochemical and behavioural techniques to characterize mice lacking a specific phospholipid remodeling enzyme.
