As part of their MSc research, Musa investigates the role of PLAAT1 in the mouse brain, with a particular focus on its influence on histone regulation. Using a combination of techniques, their work aims to characterize how PLAAT1 deficiency impacts chromatin biology, aging-related processes and overall brain health.
