- Kindheit [Childhood], 1936-1950 / Sina Helga Hildebrandt de Warkentin. --1985 Tann, Germany. --2 CD-R (95 min) : Maxell : .wav format; 3 pages of textual material. --Received from Linda Huebert Hecht and donated by Warkentin in 2011. --A digital copy for the Archives was made from a cassette tape in 2011. --Sina Hildebrandt was born in Waldheim, Soviet Union. Her family fled to Germany during the Great Trek of 1943, and immigrated on the Volendam to Paraguay. The family built a home in the village of Friedensheim (known as the "Frauendorf" or women's village) in 1947. In 1965 Sina married Jakob Warkentin. Then now live in Neu-Halbstadt, Neuland Colony, Paraguay. In 1985 while in Germany, Sina recorded the story of her childhood for her nieces and nephews.
