New Teams is being enabled for University of Waterloo users on February 20, 2024. This version delivers improved performance and enhanced reliability, security, and IT management resulting in a faster, simpler, smarter, and more flexible app. 

Microsoft will be retiring Teams Classic on March 31, 2024.
