New Outlook for Windows has rolled out a native polling tool to help schedule a meeting with multiple users.
If you’re not currently using the Windows New Outlook application, you can access the tool on Outlook on the web.
The new native polling feature allows you to:
- Propose multiple meeting times with holds (tentative meeting) in everyone’s calendar
- Collect attendee preferences in one place
- View responses in real time
- Finalize the meeting based on majority availability
- Invite external users to participate in the poll
This tool could be especially useful for cross-team meetings where availability may be unknown, collaboration with external users, planning sessions such as workshops or interviews, and any meeting scenario where flexibility in scheduling is important.
Visit Scheduling a poll for more information on how to set up and use the polling tool.
