Undergraduate Senior Thesis Project Student
Ellie Harrison is a 4th year senior thesis project student in the Sciences program and is studying under the joint supervision of Laura Hug and Maria Strack. Ellie is exploring the role of trees in methane efflux at landfills, including the bark microbial communities' methane cycling capacities, for her thesis research project. Her research represents a new area of exploration in the Mitigation of Methane Emission Hot-spots in Municipal Landfills project and is related to Activity 1 and Activity 4.
