The little cedar tree that was planted last year in the BMH courtyard as a symbol of reconciliation has grown. It was unveiled at the Faculty of Health’s first Commitment Ceremony last June 20, a day before National Indigenous Peoples Day. It represents the commitment the Faculty has made toward Indigenization, with Indigenous Knowledge Keeper Myeengun Henry leading and facilitating the way.

The Dementia Resources for Eating, Activity, and Meaningful inclusion (DREAM) project is a cross-Canada research team, led by the University of Waterloo alongside the University of Northern British Columbia (UNBC). It brings together 40 people and 15 organizations, including the Alzheimer Society of Ontario, Alzheimer Society of British Columbia and the YMCA of Three Rivers.
