Basaltic lava (igneous; intrusive-volcanic) from Bachawana Bay, Ontario. Late Precambrian or early Paleozic, over 550 million years old. Air holes in the lava can be seen in this rock. Weathering of this rock formed the cement for the conglomerate from the same location.
