Congratulations Alanna!

Paul Malik, Rx 2016 and an undergraduate student in Dr. Edginton's lab, won the 2016 Glaxo-Smith-Kline National Undergraduate Student Research Award. His poster, “Using Population PBPK Modelling to Explore Variability in Trastuzumab Pharmacokinetics” aims to define the underlying mechanisms that define monoclonal antibody interindividual variability in pharmacokinetics.

Paul was highlighted in the UW Pharmacy News. Read the article here.

Congratulations Paul!

Colin Phipps, a postdoctoral fellow in the Edginton lab, was awarded a  NSERC Postdoctoral Fellowship. These Fellowships are high coveted and we congratulate him on his achievements!

Alanna McEneny-King has received the University of Waterloo's 'Outstanding Achievement in Graduate Studies' award for her MSc thesis titled: Metabolism, transport and physiologically based pharmacokinetic modeling of novel tacrine derivatives. Congratulations Alanna! Alanna is currently enrolled in the PhD program at the School of Pharmacy at University of Waterloo.

Alanna McEneny-King has successfully defended her MSc thesis titled: Metabolism, transport and physiologically based pharmacokinetic modeling of novel tacrine derivatives.

A warm congratulations to Alanna!

Rabiya Chandani, an MSc student in the Edginton lab, successfully defended her thesis on May 14, 2015. Rabiya's thesis title was "The consequences of a lack of adult intravenous data on the prediction
accuracy of pediatric physiologically based pharmacokinetic models"

From all of us in the lab, congratulations Rabiya!

Welcome Colin Phipps!

We welcome Colin Phipps, PhD, into our group at the School of Pharmacy, University of Waterloo. Colin is a recent graduate in Applied Mathematics, University of Waterloo. His doctoral research focussed on the development of mathematical models for the rational combination of cancer therapies including the use of chemotherapy-loaded nanodelivery vehicles and molecular inhibitors that mitigate chemoresistance.
