PhD candidate
Subject: Self-assemble of natural rubber latex with cationic modified polyvinyl alcohol
Develop synthetic protocols for metal containing supramolecular nanomaterials using organometallic small- and macro- molecular building blocks. The research involved organic and organometallic syntheses, self-assembly, and material engineering for versatile potential nanotechnology applications. The PhD research endowed new discoveries in the field of aggregation-induced functions including, aggregation-enhanced IR absorption (AEIRA), aggregation-induced emission (AIE) and aggregation-induced laser trapping, for metal-carbonyl building blocks.
Na Zhou joined Wang's group as a Master student in September 2014. She is working on synthesis and characterization of organometallic block copolymers
