The Psychology EDI Working Group is excited to announce our next speaker event. On Friday February 11th, from 1:00pm-2:00pm we will be hosting a student-focused session with Dr. Sylvia Perry. Sylvia will share some remarks on her time as a student and her career path followed by a moderated Q&A with questions submitted in advance. Sylvia is an Associate Professor of Social Psychology and is the Principal Investigator of the Social Cognition and Intergroup Processes (SCIP) Lab at Northwestern University. Also, please be sure to join us for Dr. Perry’s formal talk in the Psychology Colloquium on Friday, February 11th at 3:00pm. At the colloquium, Dr. Perry will discuss her program of research which focuses on racial bias awareness.
