The goal of the Lift Mentorship Program is to provide resources and mentoring to Psychology undergraduate students about graduate studies in Psychology and to promote engagement and passion for psychological research. The pilot year of the program was launched in the fall of 2023. The program includes outreach events, such as information panels about graduate school and getting involved in research, a workshop on personal statement writing, and a website with resources to help students navigate the graduate application process. It also includes a one-on-one mentorship program where students are paired with faculty mentors. Applications for the one-on-one mentorship program will open each summer for the upcoming academic year.
