English speaking and writing practice
The English Practice Community is made up of English Conversation Circles, Conversation Café, and Writing Practice. Participate in one or more of these programs; they complement one another.
Workshops
The Writing and Communications Centre offers a variety of workshops on topics like; clarity in scientific writing, creating assertion evidence presentations, grammar studio series, paraphrase and summary for graduate students, writing a research essay, organizing research.
Resources
The Writing and Communication Centre is focused on providing students with useful feedback and strategies for their research and writing projects; we are also focused on all aspects of the communication process, including professional communication documents like emails and memos, as well as documents designed for the web, such as ePortfolios and blogs. Our resources cover a range of topics related to writing and communication across various disciplines, audiences, and situations.
