I am very excited to announce that both my proposals have been accepted from ChemEd 2023. I am excited to connect with more educators in chemistry, please reach out if you would like to meet up during the conference. Below are the details of my presentations.
Presentation title: Expanding Lab Safety: Using visual cues to encourage emotional safety (talk)
Short description: By using simple visual cues, we can signify that we are allies for a variety of historically excluded groups in education. Making allyship visible is important, but must not remain performative.
Presentation title: Building your own interactive online activity using Twine (workshop)
Short description: Workshop participants will be walked through the stages of building activities in Twine from the storyboard to the coding to implementation in their courses. Bring your laptop and ideas!
ChemEd 2023 will take place at the University of Guelph, July 23–27, 2023. Register here: https://chemed.uoguelph.ca/ !
