Get an overview of Master of Business, Entrepreneurship and Technology (MBET) with a focus on the part-time program experience.

The MBET program is a graduate entrepreneurship master's program that combines interdisciplinary courses with practical experiences in venture creation and commercialization. In MBET, students learn inside and outside the classroom. Networking, practical experience, and hands-on learning with like-minded people in the Waterloo entrepreneurship community that complement the core Master's-level courses inside the classroom.

Responsible Engineering: The Impact of Technology on Society

Engineering work has a huge impact on society - we know that in the general sense. However, it can sometimes be hard to really understand how seemingly small design decisions can end up causing huge waves. In conversation with a recent engineer alum with a PEng and JD and legal professionals from the Law Commission of Ontario, we will discuss how design decisions in information systems and artificial intelligence end up creating major issues that we as a society are still figuring out how to address - from both a legal and engineering perspective.
