Congratulations to Isabelle Carreiro, winner of the 2025 Religious Studies Distinguished Achievement Award. The award is given by the department to a student in an RS program (major or minor) who has an exceptional academic record and who has contributed to the life of the department. Isabelle graduated in 2025 with an RS minor--and Psychology major plus Catholic Studies minor. She contributed to the program through her engagement in classes, as a volunteer at Open House, and as a presenter at Culture Fest. The award consists of a framed certificate and a gift card to the W Store. It was presented by Scott Kline, Chair of Religious Studies (left), and Jeremy Bergen, Associate Chair Undergraduate Studies (right). In the Fall, Isabelle will begin a B.Ed. degree at York University.
