
The Waterloo Aerial Robotics Group (WARG) is a dedicated and multidisciplinary team of students at the University of Waterloo. Established in 1997 by aviation enthusiasts, WARG has undergone numerous transformations and is now competing as a renewed student design team. Throughout its history, WARG has served as an incubator for aspiring engineers eager to make their mark in the UAV industry and delve into the captivating world of aerial robotics, pushing the boundaries of innovation and automation.
Over the years, WARG has continued to evolve, offering hands-on experiences in designing and constructing aircraft, developing custom flight controllers, testing in-house autopilot software, and implementing autonomous algorithms. This diverse team, composed of members from all engineering disciplines, brings together a vast array of skills and perspectives.
