Paige Chambers
Paige completed her master's in our lab at the University of Waterloo in the fall of 2016 after completing a bachelor's degree in kinesiology at the University of Manitoba.

Paige entered her PhD in the lab in 2017 and was granted the Entrance Doctoral Provost Scholarship.

The focus of Paige's research is around calcium handling and it's role in muscle health and myopathy. Her thesis will be looking at a potential therapeutic strategy to ameliorate centronuclear myopathy and further assess the connection between this disease and disregulated calcium handling in muscle.
