Chris' research interests encompass changes in sarcoplasmic reticulum Ca2+ regulation in response to physiological stress, such as exercise. He completed is Masters degree at the University of Waterloo in 2008. Chris was co-supervised by Professor Russ Tupling and Professor James Rush for his PhD which investigated the effects of exhaustive exercise on cardiac contractile function and Ca2+ regulation by the Ca2+ pump and Ca2+ release channel. After completion of his PhD, Chris became a lecturer at the University of Waterloo.
