Profiles

I am a third-year Mechatronics Engineering student working as an Undergraduate Research Assistant at SIRRL. I am interested in humanoid robotics, human-computer interactions and developing robotics for human assistance. I will be working with the Fetch robot using ROS to autonomously path plan.

Ella Uppal is a third-year Computer Engineering student at the University of Waterloo with a keen interest in the intersection of machine learning and embedded systems. Within SIRRL, she focuses on developing machine learning solutions for robots to support adults in long-term care and assisted living home environments.
