Data wrangling in R

Join Danielle Quinn, PhD candidate and statistical consultant for 3 hours of R basics

We 'R' delighted to offer our first R workshop of the year! The workshop will be delivered by Danielle Quinn, a PhD candidate at Memorial University who has expertise as a statistical consultant, scientific programmer, and educator. The workshop will be for 3 hours and will cover:

• Data and Spreadsheet Formatting (tidy data, best practices, naming variables, missing values)
• Introduction to R & RStudio (functions, basic data structures ([scalar, vector])
• Working with Data (importing data, basic QAQC processes),
• {dplyr} for Data Frames (filter() and select() for subsetting data, pipes & workflows, group_by() and summarise() for generating summary statistics).

This will be a virtual event, and registration is required.
