We are pleased to announce that SWIGS members have overwhelmingly voted in favour (96%) of updating our official name to the ‘Society of the Water Institute Graduate Students (SWIGS)’. To celebrate our rebranding we are also working on a new logo to be used for SWIGS SWAG (shirts, pins, etc.) coming this spring. This contest is aimed for student in grades 4-7 in the Kitchener-Waterloo-Cambridge Region to raise awareness amongst them regarding water challenges and the importance of water in our daily lives.
