Shoreline Clean Up and Welcome Picnic

Come out to our annual shoreline cleanup event! This year we will be staying local and helping to clean up the shoreline at Clair Lake Park, only a 20 minute walk from Waterloo campus (see the map link below). We will work for a couple of hours and then enjoy a picnic, for which we welcome all new and old SWIGS members. We hope to see everyone there! New students are especially welcome, this is a great chance to meet some new people and see part of the town.

What to bring:

• appropriate clothing for the weather and for working on the shoreline
• good boots
• reusable water bottle
• good attitude

What will be provided:

• lunch for the picnic
• water and coffee
• garbage bags and nitrile gloves
• lots of fun
