As a crossover effort between old and new executives, we will be going on another Brewery Tour, this time in Guelph! Come out to celebrate a great year with SWIGS, and welcome in the new executive team. We will be starting off the evening at Royal City Brewery in Guelph, and later retiring at the Heuther Hotel for food and pool.
The
event
is
free
as
we
will
be
covering
the
transportation
cost
to
and
from
Guelph,
as
well
as
the
food
and
space
at
Heuther
Hotel.
We
are
unable
to
cover
beverage
costs
at
the
brewery,
so
be
sure
to
bring
your
wallet
for
the
brewery
if
you
wish
to
purchase
beverages
there.
Space
is
limited
as
the
brewery
can
only
accommodate
30
people,
be
sure
to
sign
up
at
the
'Tickets'
link
on
this
page.
If
you
wish
to
only
attend
the
Heuther
Hotel
portion
of
the
evening,
please
sign
up
using
the
form
and
let
us
know,
you
do
not
have
to
attend
both! Space
is
first
come
first
serve,
and
we
will
allow
non-water
students
to
come
along
if
we
do
not
have
enough
water
students
attending.
If
you
are
a
non-water
student
and
wish
to
attend,
please
sign
up
anyway
and
list
yourself
as
a
non-water
student,
and
we
will
contact
you
soon
about
availability.
The tentative schedule for the event is as follows (times are approximate):
- 5:00 PM: meet at Ring Road outside of QNC and board the school bus to Royal City Brewery
- 5:40 PM: arrive at Royal City Brewery, enjoy facility tour and learn about the water industrial applications in brewing
- 8:40 PM: depart Royal City for Heuther Hotel in Uptown Waterloo
- 9:20 PM: arrive at Heuther Hotel for socialization and food
