Campus Map
The main University of Waterloo campus is in the city of Waterloo, located in southwestern Ontario, about 90 minutes' drive west of Toronto or 3 hours east of Windsor-Detroit.

The 2023 SONAD conference will be held in Davis Centre 1302 (DC-1302) as noted on the map below.
Directions from Highway 401:
For those traveling by car from highway 401, we suggest entering the campus through Ring Road from University Avenue.
- Take exit 278 (from Toronto) or exit 278B (from London) to highway 8 WEST Kitchener/Waterloo
- From Hamilton/Niagara, take highway 403 to highway 6 NORTH; follow 6 North to highway 401 WEST; follow 401 West to exit 278; proceed as below.
- Follow the signs for 85 NORTH Waterloo.
- Exit at University Avenue West, which is the second University Avenue exit (just past the University Ave East exit when travelling north from the 401).
- Drive about 3 km along University Avenue to Seagram Drive – the main entrance to the University of Waterloo.
Visitor Parking is available in lots C (C1 and C2), Q (Q1 and Q2) N, W, X, J, S, V, and UWP at a cost of $5.00 per day. Visitor parking in lot M is $6.00 per day. If you choose to park in either J, S, or V lot, please purchase your ticket in S lot first. Lots J, S, V and UWP allow for 24-hour parking from the time of purchase.
Public Transit (GRT):
Local bus service – provided by Grand River Transit – covers the cities of Waterloo, Kitchener, and Cambridge. If you are taking public transit to the campus, please bring cash for bus fares. There is an ION light rail service stop right on campus, making it easy to travel to and from campus.
Train:
A VIA Rail train station is located at 126 Weber Street West in Kitchener, Waterloo's twin city.
GO Transit:
GO Transit offers service to Waterloo’s main campus daily from Mississauga and Milton. You can make connections to the entire GO Transit bus and train system at Square One, Mississauga.
