HOW I LEARNED TO STOP WORRYING AND LOVE THE MEETING
“Stuck” in meetings all day? That’s a common sentiment regarding something that should be among the most productive and valuable time you spend during the work day. When else do you get access to that many resources? This session will cover how to shift the perception of what a meeting is (and isn’t) in your organization, how to make the meetings you do have more effective, and how to get rid of meetings you don’t need. We will discuss some specific tools and techniques to ensure you’re defining and getting the value you need from a meeting, and what controls and measures you can use to track progress and work towards continually improving. Throughout the session the tools and techniques discussed will be presented in context of real-world scenarios with lessons learned and actual outcomes noted for illustration.
