The in-person statistics workshops are coming back this Fall term.

Yuying Huang used multiple linear regression to investigate associations between academic assessments the University of Waterloo (UWaterloo) Doctor of Phamacy (PharmD) program, success rates on the Pharmacy Examining Board of Canada (PEBC) Qualifying Exam, and performances on PharmD clinical rotations.

Zhoushanyue (Sophie) He (BSc (Statistics), 2011, Beijing Normal University, MSc (Statistics), 2013, University of Waterloo, Ph.D. (Statistics), 2020, University of Waterloo) is a Statistical Scientist at Roche.

Jiaxi (Garcia) Liang (BSc (Science), 2009, Beijing Institute of Technology, MSc (Statistics), 2011, University of Waterloo, Ph.D. (Statistics), 2016, University of Waterloo) is a Principal Machine Learning Scientist at integrate.ai.

Yidan Shi (BSc (Mathematics), 2014, Beijing Jiaotong University, MSc (Statistics), 2015, Western University, Ph.D. (Statistics), 2020, University of Waterloo) is a postdoctoral fellow at the University of Pennsylvania Perelman School of Medicine.

Joy Shu Jiang (BSc (Statistics and Actuarial Science), 2015, Simon Fraser University, MSc (Statistics), 2016, University of Western Ontario, Ph.D. (Statistics), 2018, University of Waterloo) is an Assistant Professor in the Division of Public Health Sciences at Washington University School of Medicine in St Louis.

Kelly Ramsay (BSc (Statistics and Actuarial Science), 2016, University of Manitoba, MSc (Statistics), 2018, University of Manitoba, Ph.D. (Statistics), 2022, University of Waterloo) will be joining the Department of Mathematics and Statistics at York University in July as an Assistant Professor.

Dr. Will Percival from the Department of Physics and Astronomy and Dr. Glen McGee from the Department of Statistics and Actuarial Science have formed a collaborative team to adapt cutting edge statistical tools to cosmological analyses.

One of our graduate consultants, Meixi Chen, performed an in-depth data analysis for a project led by Dr. Wasem Alsabbagh (School of Pharmacy). Their collaborative article is accepted and published in Addiction. Congratulations Meixi!
