The article, titled "Exploring the Syndemic Impact of COVID-19 and Mental Health on Health Services Utilization among the Adult Ontario Population," represents a collaborative effort with Kiran Saqib, Vivek Goel, and Zahid A. Butt from the School of Public Health Sciences, as well as Joel A. Dubin from the Department of Statistics and Actuarial Science.
Congratulations to Yuying Huang on her recent publication in Pharmacy. Her article, "The Association between Academic Performance and Entry-to-Practice Milestones within a Co-Operative Education PharmD Program," explores the link between academic assessments, exam success rates, and clinical rotation performance. Collaborating with Ali Syed, Sarah Moroz, John Pugsley, Nancy M. Waite, and Sherilyn K.D. Houle, Yuying used multiple linear regression and backward selection with AIC for model selection. She effectively communicated her findings, resulting in clear and interpretable models.
