A huge congratulations to the 2023 recipients of the Joyce Scholars Award: Tahreem, Avery and Haley.
These three University of Waterloo students will each receive up to $20,000 for the duration of their studies. We are proud of our Joyce Scholars who have overcome adversity in their lives to pursue a world-class education at UWaterloo.
One of the recipients, Haley, thanked the Joyce Family Foundation for helping her pursue her dreams:
“Without this award, I would not have been able to go to university or live in residence. I am loving university and again I’m so thankful to the foundation for making it possible for me to achieve my dreams,” Haley said.
Because of donors like the Joyce Family Foundation, UWaterloo students can follow their post-secondary education dreams and play their part in addressing real-world challenges.
