Grace (she/her) is a 3rd-year Mechanical Engineering student at the University of Waterloo with a strong interest in computational methods, artificial intelligence, and applied research. Her interests span engineering, data-driven problem solving, and the development of tools that connect technical systems with human needs.

Grace’s role at the Teaching Innovation Incubator is centred around supporting the five GenAI Teaching Enablement Fellowship projects throughout the fall term. She works with project teams to explore, develop, and evaluate generative AI applications for teaching and learning, while helping teams refine their approaches based on user feedback and project findings. Her work includes supporting GenAI application development, prompt experimentation, technical and data analysis, research and evaluation, and the development of resources to help instructors effectively use these tools.
