Creator+ was piloted at the University of Waterloo to explore how interactive, visually rich learning content could enhance teaching and learning in LEARN. Supported through Teaching Innovation Incubator funding, the pilot offered instructors and support staff the chance to test a tool designed to make it easier to build engaging, multimedia course materials—without requiring advanced technical skills. This project has contributed to Waterloo's understanding of learner data reporting and analytics in LEARN. Despite the Performance+ not addressing Waterloo's needs due to X, Y, Z, the institution better understands its future needs to develop a learning analytics strategy and implementation that leverages existing work within the faculties and ASUs, reviews data governance and retention policies and processes, and builds capacity where there are gaps.
