PhD student
Amir received a BSc in Civil Engineering from University of Tehran, and a MSc in Transportation Engineering from the Sharif University of Technology. Amir’s research interests include using advanced computer and electronics techniques in Transportation Engineering. In particular, his research interests lie in the area of:
- Intelligent transportation system (ITS)
- Advanced traffic management systems (ATMS)
- Proactive traffic management (PTM)
The focus of his PhD research is Adaptive signal control using Bluetooth technology. He is also developing advanced Bluetooth detectors and direction finding antennas.
Aside from his research interests, he is interested in swimming, reading novels and watching animations.
