Cameron Madison Spencer Berko

MSc student

Born in Orillia, Ontario and raised in Port Severn, Ontario, Cameron completed his Bachelor of Applied Science degree in Civil Engineering at the University of Waterloo in 2013. Through the University of Waterloo’s co-op program, Cameron worked in the public sector for the City of Barrie and the Ministry of Transportation of Ontario as well as for Ledcor Construction, SNC-Lavalin, and DM Wills Associates in the private sector.

Cameron’s master’s degree research consists of identifying the viability of incident detection on freeways using Global Positioning System (GPS) probe data collected via smartphone app.

In his spare time, Cameron enjoys playing hockey, soccer, and baseball.
