Ann graduated from Laurentian University with a Bachelor of Education and a Bachelor of Arts Honours with a double major in history and English literature in 2024. She is attending the University of Waterloo to further her studies of twentieth-century Canadian social history. Her research focus lies in the intersectionality of the second wave feminist movement and the 2SLGBTQ+ rights movement. Specifically she will use the British Columbia Federation of Women (BCFW) as a case study to determine if Canadian feminists considered lesbian visibility in women’s groups as an aid or a hindrance to the overarching goals of the second wave women’s movement.
