Sasha recently graduated from Trent University with a BA in Honours History. She specializes in Premodern Studies which encompasses the centuries before 1800. Her current research interests include masculinity in seventeenth- and eighteenth-century England, people’s reactions to medical theory and practice in a historical context, and the consistency of human behaviour throughout history. Her research interests are reflected in two forthcoming journal publications titled “Examining Chivalric Masculinity in Chrétien de Troyes’ Erec and Enide” (2023) and “Pretty Women and Male Anxieties: How Vietnamese Women Helped Win the Vietnam War” (2023) and a conference lecture presented in 2023. She is currently an MA student at the University of Guelph and intends to complete a thesis.
