Suzanne (she/her) is a part-time MA Thesis student with a research focus on the Eyemouth (Scotland) Fishing Disaster of October 1881, and the history of the women of the town following the disaster. She has an Honours BA in English Literature Co-op from the University of Waterloo, a Human Resources Management Diploma from Toronto Metropolitan University and a Graduate Certificate in Creative Writing from Humber College. Professionally, Suzanne's career has focused on human resources in public sector organizations, with a specific interest in the career development and recruitment of undergraduate and graduate students. Currently, she works at the University of Guelph in the Experiential Learning Hub, where she co-facilitates two non-credit co-op preparation courses.
