Online Hands-on Workshop on UiPath - March Session

The rise of automation technologies has led to a growing demand for tools like UiPath, which enables organizations to implement robotic process automation (RPA) in a no-code/low-code format, streamlining repetitive tasks and improving efficiency.

To be held ONLINE Wednesday, March 5, 2025 10:00 am - 3:00 pm (EDT) with a break from 12:00 - 1:00 pm.

Format/Structure of the Workshop

This workshop will cover both introductory and advanced material, divided into two parts:

Part 1 (10:00 am – 12:00 pm):

An introduction to UiPath:

  • What is RPA and how is it different than AI and Excel Macros
  • How can RPA be applied to Accounting and Finance work
  • What UiPath is and why it’s a game-changer for businesses.
  • Key features of UiPath Studio.
  • How to build basic automations with UiPath.
  • Hands-on exercises with small automation projects.

Part 2 (1:00 pm – 3:00 pm):

A hands-on project:

  • Applying concepts from Part 1 to automate a real-world process.
  • Using UiPath to create, test, and deploy automations.
  • Discussions on best practices for RPA implementation.

This workshop provides both theoretical and practical knowledge about UiPath, a leading tool for RPA. Attendees will gain hands-on experience with UiPath Studio and learn to automate processes effectively.

Learning Objectives

After completing this workshop, participants will be able to:

  • Navigate the UiPath Studio interface, including activity panels, property windows, and workflow diagrams.
  • Create basic workflows to automate repetitive tasks.
  • Debug and troubleshoot automations.
  • Implement best practices in building robust and scalable RPA solutions.

Advance Preparation

You will need to:

  • Download the UiPath Studio Community Edition ahead of the workshop.
  • Install the software on a laptop running Windows.

Workshop materials, including sample files, will be provided to registrants in advance.
