Vibration suppression and control of semi-autonomous flying aerial cameras
The
current
design
of
the
flying
aerial
cameras
has
been
found
to
be
sensitive
to
vibrations
from
motors
which
affect
the
payload
and
the
control
systems.
Improving
the
camera/video
image,
flight
control
quality
and
the
overall
stability
of
the
vehicles
requires
a
better
understanding
of
the
effects
of
their
vibrations.
The
goal
of
this
project
is
to
understand
the
underlying
mechanisms
affecting
vibration
of
the
aerial
vehicle
in
order
to
find
a
robust
design
which
is
less
sensitive
to
the
disturbances
during
flight.
