Open Scholar is a website builder application designed for academics and academic institutions. It allows end users to create a full featured dynamic website on the fly. Open Scholar was designed by Harvard University and the University of Waterloo has adopted it to create Scholar at Waterloo. In this presentation an overview of Open Scholar and UW’s implementation will be given. Also, the trials and tribulations of having a UW implementation. A full demo of the Scholar at Waterloo will also be displayed.
