The WCMS team in IST encourages external developers to work on projects that may be integrated with the central build or deployed to specific sites. In this session, WCMS team developers Kevin Paxman and Chris Shantz will walk through what it takes to get started. You will leave the session with a figurative armload of information, including how to set up and work with a virtual machine (VM) development environment, follow WCMS best practices, develop custom content types, manage your work in version control, and more.
