Our research is focused on the design, synthesis, and characterization of novel surface active compounds or "surfactants" with an eye toward applications in drug delivery. Current research projects are focused on the study new formulations with DNA for potential application to genetic therapies, thermodynamic studies of surfactant and other self-assembling systems, and the development of self-emulsifying systems for formulation as soft gelatin capsules.
