Design For All 2022

Cost for registration: $30 (Bursaries are available)

Program Location: Engineering 7 Building, University of Waterloo

Program time: 6:00 PM-8:30 PM

Program Date and Duration: 7 weeks, every Tuesday from October 18th to November 29th

Target Audience: Girls, including non-binary youth

Grade Range: 9-12

Design For All is a 7-week in-person program that aims to teach participants about the principles and applications of assistive technology and inclusive design. Participants will use 3D design software, soldering and circuitry to build assistive technology for people with disabilities. In addition, participants get to learn first-hand about new advancements in assistive technology and career pathways from engineers and professors in various STEM fields.We would like to thank Ontario Power Generation and Makers Making Change for the support and contributions to this program.
