Gender-specific professional challenges in the workplace 

Suggested Questions for your meeting this month: 

  • Discuss challenges that each of you have faced in a work or school environment (ex: communication, motivating people, organization, dealing with change, negativity, difficult clients, career advancement etc.) 

  • What are the best practices for dealing with different workplace challenges? 

  • Have a discussion on ways to handle professional conflict. 

  • What types of skills can you learn to help reduce professional conflict from occurring with employees or managers? 

  • Discuss any issues you have faced over the course of this year, or any potential challenges you see on the horizon. 

  • Discuss lessons each of you have learned from professional challenges you have faced. 

  • Have you ever accepted a role that you weren’t 100% qualified to do? How did you handle that? If not, would you consider it?
