The Work-Learn Institute is pleased to announce it has entered into a two-year partnership with the Higher Education Quality Council of Ontario (HEQCO)'s newly established Skills Consortium. The purpose of the Skills Consortium is to “evaluate programs or interventions relating to the acquisition, development and/or articulation of transferable skills.”

March is Co-operative Education and Work-Integrated Learning (CEWIL) Canada National Work-Integrated Learning (WIL) month. As an opportunity to celebrate and generate awareness of co-op and other WIL programs across Canada, the Work-Learn Institute (WxL) is reflecting on the contributions co-op students have made to the Work-Learn team and WIL research.

Work-Learn Institute director Judene Pretti will be introducing the Future Ready Talent Framework at the upcoming Developing Future Ready Students learning series presented by InnovatED. The series brings together a group of educational thought leaders from across Ontario to highlight innovative approaches to teaching and learning that prepare students to meet the challenges of the 21st century.
